    Geistlich Bio-Gide® 13x25mm, 1 U/Bx

Geistlich Bio-Gide® is the leading collagen membrane in North America for oral tissue regeneration. It is used in combination with a bone substitute such as Geistlich Bio-Oss® or Geistlich Bio-Oss Collagen®. Geistlich Bio-Gide® integrates with surrounding tissues to protect the initial coagulum. With its unique bilayer structure, Geistlich Bio-Gide® not only prevents ingrowth of soft tissue into the augmented site, but then optimally degrades to allow for the cascade of biologic events leading to regeneration.

Geistlich Bio-Gide® is naturally resorbable therefore a second surgery for removal of the membrane is not required. As it simplifies the surgical technique, and exhibits excellent wound healing properties, Geistlich Bio-Gide® has fundamentally changed dental bone regeneration.

Leading clinicians rely on Geistlich Bio-Gide® for:

    • Excellent tissue integration and undisturbed bone regeneration compared to using a bone substitute alone
    • Native collagen structure results in fewer dehiscences compared with other available membranes
    • Fully resorbable, no second surgery required for membrane removal
    • Predictable outcomes in the esthetic zone
    • Long-term data demonstrates predictable results in Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) treatments when Geistlich Bio-Gide® is used in combination with Geistlich Bio-Oss®

    Indications:

    • Augmentation around implants placed in immediate and delayed extraction sockets
    • Localized ridge augmentation for later implantation
    • Alveolar ridge reconstruction for prosthetic treatment
    • Filling of bone defects after root resection, cystectomy, removal of retained teeth
    • GBR in dehiscence defects; and GTR procedures in periodontal defects

Application of Geistlich Bio-Gide® is easy:

    • Measure the defect with a periodontal probe
    • Trim the dry collagen membrane to the desired shape and size
    • Apply dry with the rough side facing the defect
    • Moisten the membrane in situ with blood from the defect

Geistlich Bio-Gide® is available in three convenient sizes:

    • 13 x 25 mm
    • 25 x 25 mm
    • 40 x 50 mm

    and a combination kit:

    • Geistlich Combi-Kit Collagen - Geistlich Bio-Gide® 16 x 22 mm with Geistlich Bio-Oss® 100 mg

    The package contains:

    • 1 membrane of Geistlich Bio-Gide® 13x25mm

    Geistlich Mucograft 15x20mm, 1 U/Bx

Geistlich Mucograft® is a unique 3D collagen matrix designed specifically for soft tissue regeneration. It is indicated for the gain of keratinized tissue and for recession coverage.

Geistlich Mucograft® provides an alternative to autogenous soft tissue grafts. Harvesting of the patient’s tissue is avoided, providing a benefit to both patients and clinicians.

Geistlich Mucograft® consists of two structures: the compact macro-structure provides stability while allowing open healing; the spongy micro-structure supports blood clot stabilization and the ingrowth of soft tissue cells.

    Key benefits:

    • No harvest-site morbidity
    • Less pain compared with autogenous grafts
    • Reduced surgical chair-time compared with autogenous grafts
    • Natural soft tissue color and structure match the patients’ own tissues
    • Early vascularization and good soft tissue ingrowth
    • Excellent wound healing, also in open healing situations
    • Geistlich Mucograft® provides easy handling and application in a dry state

    Indications:

    • covering of implants placed in immediate or delayed extraction sockets
    • localized gingival augmentation to increase keratinized tissue (KT) around teeth and implants
    • alveolar ridge reconstruction for prosthetic treatment and recession defects for root coverage

Geistlich Mucograft® is easy to handle compared to autogenous soft tissue grafts:

    • Unlimited availability and consistent quality.
    • Ready to use: no need for pre-treatment or pre-hydration.
    • Tailor to defect shape: measure the defect and trim the matrix to the required shape.
    • Excellent hydrophilicity: apply the dry Geistlich Mucograft® to the defect; it will moisten rapidly due to the significant hydrophilicity.
    • Orientation: position the compact macro-structure facing away from the wound bed and the spongy micro-structure towards the bone or periosteum.
    • Good adherence: the hydrated matrix adapts easily to contours and adheres well to defect.
    • Easy to suture: the compact structure provides optimal suture pull-out strength.

The matrix is available in two sizes:

    • 15 x 20 mm
    • 20 x 30 mm

    The package contains:

    • 1 matrix of Geistlich Mucograft 15x20mm
