The O2 Airway Kit contains 425L of oxygen and is designed for any environment in which a patient may unexpectedly experience a medical emergency where oxygen is needed. Extra equipment must also be on-site to deal with the emergency efficiently. The job of an O2 Airway Kit is to contain both the oxygen and the equipment required to treat a patient for the first thirty minutes or so of a medical emergency.

Succinylcholine is an ultra short-acting, depolarizing-type, skeletal muscle relaxant. As does acetylcholine, it combines with the cholinergic receptors of the motor end plate to produce depolarization. Succinylcholine chloride is indicated as an adjunct to general anesthesia, to facilitate tracheal intubation, and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery. It is an ultra short-acting depolarizing-type, skeletal muscle relaxant for intravenous (IV) administration.

An oxygen crash cart is a wheeled trolley carrying equipment for use in emergency resuscitations. There is a basic list that all crash carts contain. All carts contain: basic airway equipment including bag valve masks, oral airways, oxygen masks and nasal cannulas.
