Esthetic complications of dental implant can have a major negative impact on patients’ qualify of life and perception of implant therapy. Unfortunately, implant esthetic complications are common conditions in the esthetic zone. Their treatment requires a proper understanding of the etiological factors and the type of peri-implant soft tissue dehiscences. This lecture will discuss the rationale, treatment planning and soft tissue grafting techniques for the correction of implant esthetic failures.
